Fall MEGA Yard Sale & Recycling Event at Boston Seaport Self Storage a Big Success!
The MEGA Yard Sale & Recycling Event held at Boston Seaport Self Storage on November 8th was an overwhelming success, as an estimated 100+ people came to peruse and buy storage treasures from over 20 tenants selling items out of their self-storage units.
“This is the second time I participated in the mega yard sale,” said Paul M., one of the first customers to rent a self-storage unit at Boston Seaport Self Storage when the state-of-the-art facility opened in December 2013. “It’s really a great way to clear out the items I no longer want or need so I can maximize the space in my storage unit, and it feels good to know my stuff didn’t end up in a dumpster.”
In addition to providing an outlet for tenants to sell their belongings, EOMS Recycling, Inc. was on hand to offer recycling services and carted away items such as mattresses, monitors, and used books.
Attendees were also treated to gourmet brownie samples being offered by Browma Brownie Company, as well as free coffee and donuts in the Boston Seaport Self Storage business center.
